Hugs

Today I was thinking on the word breakfast. Break the fast. I thought of all the hugs I have missed over the last several months.

Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
    when it is in your power to act. Proverbs 3:27

I miss the warmth of a hug from family, friends, students and even strangers.

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

When this Pandemic has passed I will never again pass up an opportunity to hug others.

If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. 1 Corinthians 12:26

I miss seeing others hug each other in joy or to give comfort. Or just because… they are loved by God.

We are all loved by God, we are all held in his arms. Hugging each other helps us through this life until we are in heaven, and then we can run into Jesus’s arms to receive the treasure of his hug.
